When we created our revolutionary product, PawPrintsID, we set a new standard in pet tracking and information accessibility. With our features, price, and performance, we quickly became a favorite product among pet owners.
Shortly after the launch of PawPrintsID, we were approached by horse owners who loved our product, but wanted something designed especially for them. We love horses and eagerly accepted the challenge.
We worked with a variety of horse owners in different parts of America, listened to their needs and the features they wanted. We learned a lot about the joys of horse ownership and the places owners like to go with their horses. Our respect for the people that love these noble creatures grew every time we worked a new person.
Using the technology in PawPrintsID as a foundation for an equine system, we began to build new features based on feedback from owners.
The PawPrintsID system was built around a smart tag that the pet would wear. If the pet became lost or in trouble, the tag can be scanned and all the information needed to get that pet home would be displayed on the person’s phone. In an emergency situation, the pet’s medical records are available to help aid critical care workers.
For HoofPrintsID, we decided that four tags would be most advantageous in meeting the features owners wanted in this product. Four tags allows you to have access to all of the information that PawPrintsID offers and much, much more.
Our first goal was to tackle the amount of documentation owners have to keep track of. Veterinarian information, medical documents, show forms, travel slips, vaccination records, the list seemed never ending.
In PawPrintsID, we created the technology to imbed medical records, x-ray images, and vaccination documents into the available system information. The most requested feature was the ability to do the same with horses but on a larger scale.
So, we advanced this technology with the ability to upload any PDF file or JPG image. Then we created a few general categories where you can store all of this information. We have even given the owner the opportunity to create their own custom categories, and password protect individual files. All from a simple web based interface that can be done from computer or mobile device.
All of this is embedded on a keychain tag that they owner can carry and have instant access no matter where they are.
Many horse lovers told us how much they enjoy trail riding far from the beaten path. In one of many similar stories, we were told of an owner that was trail riding when her horse was spooked, threw her and then fell on her. She was knocked unconscious, her leg was crushed, and the horse bolted.
With today's technology, hand written cards with medical information and a contact name seems like relying on the calvery to save the day, and we knew we could do better.on it, but we felt we could do better than that.
We created a rider tag that can hang from the neck or arm. When someone scans this tag they instantly get medical information including blood type, allergies, current conditions, current medications, and more. Everything critical care workers would need to help stabilize a person in distress.
Three emergency contacts are listed with the ability to text them instantly.
Your gear should remain - your gear. While researching features that horse owners would need, it became obvious that securing your gear would be a welcome addition. With a simple scan of a smart phone, handlers, transporters, and even law enforcement can identify your gear. It deters thrives and helps you stay organized. We help your gear remain yours.
Finally, the system comes with a bridle tag that is targeted for people who might find your horse in an emergency situation. In the case of the owner who was thrown, her horse ran off after being spooked and was found grazing miles away, by a farmer.
With HoofPrintsID anyone can scan the bridle tag and receive a wealth of medical, contact and owner information. Including any special needs the horse might have, alternate contacts, the ability to text the owner, and other important items.
If the horse is injured in some way, the tag provides medical records and veterinarian information to help critical care workers in an emergency situation.
Four tags, One system, One price, Zero recurring fees. The best protection for your horse and you.
